// what if //

What if I’m dreaming?

like it is only a bad dream of mine
a nightmare that I could not escape from.

What if I’m hallucinating?
what if it’s only a  pigment of my imagination?
those words that he said

What if I woke up?
and he’s there right beside me
hugging me because of my nightmare

Caving me in those arms
But no-
this is reality and I must face it
But what if it’s not?

Today is Valentines day

a day where cupid will struck with his bow and arrow

a day for lovers

and of course a bitter sweet day of love
This day could’ve been fun

we could’ve spend it together,

here under the stars

just like how it used to be
But how do I spend this wonderful day

with someone new,

who loves me so much

and still think of you?

Book Review: Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

“Kaz Brekker and his crew have just pulled off a heist so daring even they didn’t think they’d survive. But instead of divvying up a fat reward, they’re right back to fighting for their lives. Double-crossed and left crippled by the kidnapping of a valuable team member, the crew is low on resources, allies, and hope. As powerful forces from around the world descend on Ketterdam to root out the secrets of the dangerous drug known as jurda parem, old rivals and new enemies emerge to challenge Kaz’s cunning and test the team’s fragile loyalties. A war will be waged on the city’s dark and twisting streets―a battle for revenge and redemption that will decide the fate of magic in the Grisha world.”

Okay so I thought Six of Crows was already life but then Crooked Kingdom came and well now it’s lifer than SOC. But kinding aside, I just finished reading Crooked Kingdom and wow it was just so beautiful. Leigh Bardugo outdid herself, it was just so beautifully written and I swear at the opening chapters I was already gripping the book and I couldn’t put it down already.

At every chapter you’ll go so high and you would just be reeling on what would happen next. It was just really beautiful, this book is so full of twist just like SOC but like CK has many twist to offer. At one point I just started bawling my eyes out because something just happend and I was just really dumbsturck that it happend. To be honest this book for me was a cliff hanger, although Leigh Bardugo wrapped it very well I just felt like I was still missing something but overall this book is so great. The character developement was also good especially with Kaz, I love how Leigh unravelled Kaz’s weaknesses and secrets very slowly in each chapter and with it you’ll fully understand him. Bit by bit you’ll understand who he truly is. I also love the fact that this book is so diverse, with gender and all.

I highly recommend it to people who have read SOC but still haven’t read CK, just pick it up already please. Also to the people who loved Victoria Aveyard’s book you’ll love this one. Just go read it okay you won’t regret it.

They were meant for each other

but he was too blind to see it
she accepted it with tear stained eyes
she believed in that daydream

He shattered her heart-
she stayed for she believed in him
she stayed because she knows that it’ll come true
But it was too late

She left for she was tired of running after him
he loved her when she ran away
her dream finally came true

Book Review: A Court of Mist and Fury

“Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas’s masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.”

Well I thought no one would top my love for Red Queen but then A Court of Mist and Fury came. So I just finished A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas and it was amazing. The book is so well written, Sarah outdid herself. When I started reading ACOMAF I was having a severe case of reading slump, but when I read ACOMAF that slump just disappeared into thin air. Because the book was just so good! It was a 600 paged book, it was a challenged for me because it’s my first time to read a book that long. I thought it’ll take me awhile to finish that book but I was wrong I finished it in three weeks. I could’ve finished it in a week or two but I started watching the Flash and the slump was attacking me but when I got hooked in that book oh it was the cure that I have been waiting for a long time. After I read A Court of Thorns and Roses I was solid Team Tamlin and all the Team Rhysand that I met, I’ll always tell them that their ship is going to sink. BUT when I read ACOMAF oh my I ate my words because I shifted to team Rhysand. You will actually see the character development in the sequel and I really love how SJM did it. I also loved how you will see Feyre’s character changed/developed throughout the book, SJM showed us that even though our demons are attacking us we will always find our way out of it and that it will get better as the time heals all the wounds. I recommend this book to the people who haven’t read it yet and to people who love Red Queen like me, it’ll definitely help your hangover with Glass Sword.

Book review: Glass Sword

“If there’s one thing Mare Barrow knows, it’s that she’s different.
Mare Barrow’s blood is red—the color of common folk—but her Silver ability, the power to control lightning, has turned her into a weapon that the royal court tries to control.

The crown calls her an impossibility, a fake, but as she makes her escape from Maven, the prince—the friend—who betrayed her, Mare uncovers something startling: she is not the only one of her kind.

Pursued by Maven, now a vindictive king, Mare sets out to find and recruit other Red-and-Silver fighters to join in the struggle against her oppressors.

But Mare finds herself on a deadly path, at risk of becoming exactly the kind of monster she is trying to defeat.

Will she shatter under the weight of the lives that are the cost of rebellion? Or have treachery and betrayal hardened her forever?

The electrifying next installment in the Red Queen series escalates the struggle between the growing rebel army and the blood-segregated world they’ve always known—and pits Mare against the darkness that has grown in her soul.” -Goodreads
So I finished reading Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard and it was the most amazing, yet a big cliffhanger ending. Victoria Aveyard outdid herself in this book. For me some sequel in a series they are like fillers and they have the “Middle book Syndrome” but, with Glass Sword it wasn’t! This book will give you that feeling where you just can’t put it down and it would make you tear through the pages. Well let’s just say that Victoria did it again, she made me cry for over an hour! I cried because of happiness, i cried because of sadness, i cried because of grief and i cried because of hatred. In this book you will see how most of the characters evolved and changed their attitudes toward each other, life and survival was the main reason. The romance in this book is so amazing. Like finally, Mare said it and admitted that she is in love with that certain guy. And well I’m actually happy that she loves that certain guy and that finally she admitted it even after everything that had happened between them. All I can say is that I cannot wait for the 3rd book and maybe some novellas (side story) to pick up the holes in the story. Let’s just say that I’m so excited for this series and that I can no longer wait for the 3rd and final book and some novellas (side story) too, because honestly this is now my favorite book of all time! Like for people like my Aunt Jaimee she loves Harry Potter so much and well my Harry Potter is Red Queen. I highly recommend this book for people who read Red Queen and haven’t read Glass Sword 😁 and also for people who likes fantasy. I also recommend this to people who have read The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo (even though I haven’t read that book) they said that if you have that hangover with that series Red Queen will help you cope with your hangover 😉 And for people who are done with Glass Sword and has this book hangover like me, I recommend A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. I love this series so much that I have 2 copies of Red Queen and 3 copies of Glass Sword 😂

So i just finished reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, and it was so amazing. The book got me into the feeling where my mind is reeling on what would happen next to the characters or how will they ever survive, like if they’re all going to die or if they’re all

going to survive or if one of them will end up dead. This book had an amazing twist and turns, like that part at the end. I didn’t see that coming. My reaction was so priceless i was like, ” What just happened?”. I thought that book wouldn’t make me cry since it was more about taking on a mission and an impossible heist but it got me! The end of the book is such a cliffhanger and I just cant wait for the sequel of the book. So I can know if my otp in that book would end up with each other. Hah. This is my first Leigh Bardugo books so I just can’t wait to read her other series, which is The Grisha Trilogy!
